Kevin Simons is a Founder and CTO at Kitemaker since 2019. From 2016 to 2019, they held various roles at Schibsted, including Leave of Absence, Interim Head of Data & Insights, Senior Engineering Manager, Insights, and Senior Engineering Manager, Identity. From 2012 to 2016, they were at Telenor Digital, where they were VP Strategic Engineering, Office of the CTO, Tech Lead Firefox OS, and Tech Lead Comoyo View Devices. Kevin was at Nokia from 2004 to 2012, where they held various roles, including Team Lead, Qt JSON DB, Principal Architect, Qt, Principal Technology Specialist, Services Architecture, Senior Engineer, Technology Strategy & Architecture, Senior Engineer, Enterprise Mobility, Senior Engineer, Emerging Technology, and Research Engineer.

Kevin Simons completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Music from Colby College in 2002. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Tufts University in 2004. In 2021, they joined Y Combinator's W21 batch.
