Hagen Asseng is an accomplished Senior Data Scientist at KISTERS AG since February 2022, bringing extensive experience in meteorology and atmospheric sciences. Previously, Hagen served as a Senior Meteorologist at enercast from March 2021 to October 2022 and as a Meteorological Researcher at MeteoGroup from April 2004 to February 2021. Early career endeavors included roles as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Freie Universität Berlin from March 2001 to April 2003, where planning and execution of ground and airborne measurement experiments for validating satellite remote sensing data were conducted, and at the Max-Planck-Institut für Chemie from March 1998 to February 2001, focusing on the development of optical measurement instruments and aerosol characterization. Hagen completed a Dr. rer. nat. in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology and a Diplom in Meteorology, both from Freie Universität Berlin.
