Sam Armstrong has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2009, they worked as a Leading Hand Electrician at Bugden Trimac Group, where they installed and maintained electrical systems. From 2012 to 2014, they served as a Leading Hand Commercial Electrician at Appselec, specializing in large-scale commercial and high-rise apartment projects. In 2014, they joined Metropolitan Capital Finance as a Credit Representative, assisting clients with their banking and lending needs. In 2015, they began their journey with Xplor, initially as a Launcher/Business Development manager, later transitioning to roles such as Enterprise Account Manager, Head of Partnerships, Senior Product and Implementation Specialist, and Strategic Partnerships Associate. During their time at Xplor, they played a key role in the expansion of the tech start-up through the early education sector. In 2020, they became an Investor at Taimer- Simplify work. In 2015, they founded Foot Centre Group, a podiatry group offering a range of health services, and in 2022, they became a Director at Active Feet Mornington, focusing on providing complete footwear solutions. Currently, they are also the Co-Founder and Chief Ecosystem Officer at Kismet. Sam Armstrong has a diverse education history. In 2007, they attended Box Hill Institute where they obtained a Certificate IV in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Sam pursued their interest in the banking and financial sector by enrolling at the International Institute of Business and Technology Australia in 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they completed a Diploma in Financial Services, specializing in Banking and Financial Support Services. In 2014, they continued their studies at the same institute and received a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management. In 2016, they briefly attended Swinburne University of Technology and obtained a Certificate III in Manage Quality Customer Service. Apart from their formal education, Sam also obtained an Inbound Certification from HubSpot in October 2016.
