Sandeep Dhanda is a scientific advisor at Kiromic Biopharma. Sandeep has also worked as a research fellow at the Institute of Microbial Technology, a project assistant at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, and a bioinformatics postdoc at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology.
Dhanda’s research focuses on analyzing genomics datasets to determine cancer purity and immune cells infiltration. Sandeep has also devised a novel clustering algorithm for analyzing peptide datasets, developed machine learning models for epitope identification, and designed a computational strategy to deimmunize therapeutic proteins.
In addition to their research contributions, Dhanda has also participated in the automation of database managements and demonstrated a new epitope screening approach.
Sandeep Dhanda has a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, an Micro MBA from the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management, and a Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology from Maharshi Dayanand University. Sandeep also has a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Zoology/Chemistry from Kurukshetra University.
