Jan Kuwahara has extensive experience in television news photography, having worked in the field since 1984. Currently a retired TV News Photographer at KIROTV since November 2020, Jan previously served as a TV News Videographer at KIRO TV from February 1999. Prior roles include Chief Photographer at KSTW TV from September 1986 to December 1998 and TV News Photographer at KIVI TV from April 1984 to September 1986. Jan holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Broadcast Journalism and another in Communication and Media Studies, both obtained from Washington State University between 1981 and 1983.
