Julie Pesce Marcus currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Kirkland & Ellis since June 2022. Prior to this role, Julie held the position of Chief Talent Officer and Managing Director of Human Resources at Winston & Strawn LLP from March 2015 to May 2022. Julie's experience in human resources leadership also includes serving as Assistant Vice President of Employee and Labor Relations at the University of Chicago from March 2013 to March 2015, and as National Director of Employee Relations at Grant Thornton LLP from June 2003 to February 2013. Earlier in Julie's career, roles included Tax Manager positions at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen. Julie received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and two Master's degrees in Human Resources and Organization Development from Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago. Julie completed high school at St. Ignatius College Prep.
