Lawrence Chu has a diverse work experience highlighted by roles in education, research, and data analysis. Lawrence is currently employed by KIPP Texas Public Schools as the Senior Director of Analytics, Research & Evaluation. Prior to this, Lawrence worked as a Data Analyst for the same organization. Lawrence Chu received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology and Music from the University of California, Berkeley. Lawrence then earned a Single Subject Credential in Physical Sciences from Loyola Marymount University. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Urban Education, with an emphasis in Policy and Administration, from Loyola Marymount University. Lawrence completed their education by attaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education from The University of Texas at Austin.
