José Martínez has a diverse work experience primarily in the education sector. José started their career in 2016 as an Americorps Member at City Year, where they served until 2017. In 2017, they joined Teach For America as an Americorps Member and contributed until 2019. During the same year, they also began working at KIPP SoCal Public Schools as a Lead Teacher, a position they currently hold. In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Instruction Assistant Manager at KIPP SoCal Public Schools.
