Jennifer Lee has a total of 15 years of work experience. From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Teacher at Ralph J Bunche Elementary. In 2013, they joined KIPP LA Public Schools and held the position of Director of Physical Education & After School Program at KIPP LA Prep until 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Teacher at KIPP Corazon Lower starting in 2018.

Jennifer Lee attended Santa Barbara City College from 1997 to 2000 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during that time. Jennifer then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Asian American Studies and Minor in Public Education at UCLA from 2000 to 2002. Later, Jennifer went on to obtain a Master's degree in Education from Pepperdine University, where they studied from 2005 to 2006.
