Ana Loera has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as a College Mentor at the Los Angeles Team Mentoring, Inc. Ana then moved on to work as a Medical Call Center Representative at the University of Southern California from March 2012 to April 2013. In 2013, Ana joined Teach For America as a Corps Member, a role they held until May 2015. Currently, they are working as a Teacher at KIPP LA Schools, starting in July 2015.

Ana Loera completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2014 to 2017, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education.
