Amanda Lanfré has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Amanda began their career as an intern for The Rose Group Marketing & Communications and Neovia Integrated Insurance Services in 2010. At Communication Association at UCSB, they served as the Newsletter Publisher during the same period. Amanda then worked as a Sales and Marketing Associate at Patchi Chocolate from 2010 to 2012.
In 2012, Lanfré joined Whalerock Industries and held several roles including Receptionist, Executive Assistant to Head of Corporate Development, Business Development Coordinator & Intern Director, Business Development Analyst, and Business Operations Manager until 2017. At Whalerock Industries, they supported business development, managed partners, and oversaw the intern program.
From 2017 to 2018, Lanfré was the Vice President of Operations at Grander Inc, an early-stage start-up focused on creating a global community for women through a mobile app. In this role, they led operations, strategy, and project management, and also supported fundraising and product development efforts.
Since 2018, Lanfré has been working at KIPP SoCal Public Schools. Amanda started as a Regional Operations Manager, overseeing a $5 million school nutrition program and expanding a federal provision to cover 11 schools, resulting in increased free meals for students. Amanda then became an Associate Director of Regional Operations, responsible for strategic planning, system development, and team management. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Regional Operations at KIPP SoCal Public Schools, where they continue to build vision, lead planning, and manage execution.
Amanda Lanfré completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication at UC Santa Barbara from 2008 to 2012.
