Principal Melanie Harrison has a strong background in education, serving as an Assistant Principal at both primary and middle school levels. Principal Melanie was also recognized as a nominee for Assistant Principal of the year in 2017. Prior to their administrative roles, Principal Melanie worked as a primary school teacher. With a Bachelor of Education from East Carolina University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Gardner-Webb University, Principal Melanie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to their current role as a School Principal at KIPP North Carolina Public Schools.
