Jesia Cobb is an experienced educator and manager with a diverse background in teaching and business administration. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools since July 2022, Jesia Cobb previously worked as a Teacher with the Charter School Teacher Network from September 2018 to July 2023. Additionally, Jesia Cobb managed JC Antiques, specializing in the purchase and sale of historical artifacts, particularly southern artifacts related to the enslaved, from July 2018 to July 2023. Earlier in the career, Jesia Cobb held the position of Controller at Atlanta Retail Maintenance Co./ARMCO from May 2000 to June 2018. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Georgia State University, a Master's degree in Heritage Preservation from Georgia State University College of Arts & Sciences, and ongoing PhD studies in American History at Georgia State University.
