Enrico Petrillo M.D. has a long and accomplished career in the medical field. Enrico began their career in 1983 as a Senior Consultant and General Partner at Fletcher Spaght, Inc., a strategy consulting firm spun out of Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In 1997, they became an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. From 1998 to 2007, they were the Co-Founder and General Partner of CB Health Ventures LLC, a venture capital firm that invested in healthcare services, medical information technology, biotechnology, and life sciences companies. In 2007, they became the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Excel Venture Management LLC, a venture capital firm with a $220 million investment portfolio in transformative technology entities. In 2008, they joined the United States Department of Defense as a National Policy Advisor. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Network Medicine Alliance and Institute, a Global Alliance of leading Universities and Institutes. During this same time, they were also the Co-Founder of Kintsugi Ventures. In 2018, they became the Advisor to the Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Physician-in-Chief for International Research Programs at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and a Faculty Lecturer at Harvard Medical School. Enrico is currently the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Karolinska University Hospital and Brigham Alliance and a Karolinska Institute Faculty Affiliated Researcher in the Department of Medicine.
Enrico Petrillo M.D. began their education in 1972 at Tufts University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in 1976. Enrico then attended Tufts University School of Medicine, receiving their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 1980. Following this, they attended Harvard Medical School, where they completed a Clinical Fellowship of Medicine and General Internal Medicine at Harvard Affiliated Hospitals in 1983.
