Abed A. Hijleh is a dedicated research professional currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre within the Respiratory Investigation Unit, focusing on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). In addition, Abed holds a Research Intern position at Queen's University's Sensorimotor Exploration Lab, concentrating on video processing and machine learning for lower extremity coordination tests. Abed previously contributed to the Neuromechanics Lab at Queen's, emphasizing machine learning and locomotion under Dr. Jessica Selinger, and has experience managing the Queen's Chemistry Store. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Queen's University, Abed A. Hijleh is committed to advancing research in these fields.
