Scott Shukes has been working in the software engineering and development industry since 1995. Scott began their career as an Optics Engineer at Litton, then moved to Developer at Osprey and Applications Developer at Acentron Technologies. In 1996, they began working at Wells Fargo as a Systems Programmer and then a Senior Applications Systems Programmer in 1999. In 2009, they moved to Wachovia, A Wells Fargo Company, as a Solutions System Engineer - Wholesale Technology. In 2014, they moved to Abacus Group as a Solutions System Engineer, then to Signature Consultants as a Solutions Architect in 2015. Most recently, they have been working at Kingsmen Software as a Senior Software Engineer since 2021.

Scott Shukes received a Bachelor of Science in Optics/Optical Sciences from the University of Rochester in 1991. Scott then attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Master of Science in Applied Physics. Prior to that, they attended Newman High School from 1981 to 1985.
