Before that, they co-founded Digital Jolt in 2016, a digital marketing services company. Schneider also worked as a self-employed technology consultant from 2015 to 2016. Howard was the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Bedrock Business Media from 2011 to 2014. Before that, Schneider served as the Chief Technology Officer of the Business & Relationship Intelligence Group at Dow Jones from 2008 to 2010, joining the company through its acquisition of Generate. Howard co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer of Generate, Inc. from 2005 to 2008 before it was acquired by Dow Jones. Schneider was also the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Videominex Inc. from 2001 to 2005, which was later acquired by Iverify. Before that, they co-founded SwapIt, Inc. in 1999 and acted as the President and Chief Technology Officer. Schneider began their career as the VP of Customer Operations at Bright Tiger Technologies from 1997 to 1999 before it was acquired by MacroMedia.
Howard Schneider attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1975 to 1979 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering.
