Eileen Klein currently serves as the Administrator for the Department of Psychiatry at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, a role held since September 2017. In this position, Eileen conducts marketing efforts with various hospitals and health care agencies across New York City, Long Island, and Westchester counties to secure admissions and foster collaborations for two inpatient psychiatric units while supervising a team of four social work and art therapy staff. Previously, from September 1998 to September 2017, Eileen worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at NYU/Lutheran Medical Center, where responsibilities included supervising social workers and certified detox counselors, participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, and acting as a liaison with internal and external agencies, in addition to serving as the compliance officer for the department of inpatient psychiatry.
