Dr. Simon Jury is an accomplished data and analytics leader with extensive experience spanning various roles in prominent companies. Currently serving as Chief Data Officer at Kingfisher plc since January 2025, Dr. Jury drives data strategy and AI applications to optimize decision-making and enhance value across the organization. Previously, as Vice President of Data and Analytics at Asda, responsibilities included developing data capabilities to increase sales and customer value. Notable past positions include Solutions Director at dunnhumby, where leadership focused on innovative data solutions in collaboration with Tesco, and General Manager for Latin America, overseeing business operations in that region. Dr. Jury has a solid foundation in research and analytics from both dunnhumby China and earlier roles, including Management Consultant at Peppers and Rogers Group. Academically, Dr. Jury holds a PhD in Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Computational Physics from The University of Edinburgh.
