Julio C. Valencia Palau has extensive work experience in various roles within the IT industry. Julio C. began their career in 2004 as a .NET Developer at NTS, where they worked until 2005. In 2006, they joined John Galt Solutions as a .NET Developer, contributing to the migration of their system to .NET architecture. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Consultant at Brightstar, and then transitioned to Cheine Consulting Corp, where they worked as a Consultant until 2011. At Brightstar Corp, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst from 2011 to 2022. In 2016, they joined BRIGHTSTAR LOGISTICS LIMITED as a Technical Account Manager and Solution Architect. Their most recent role is with Kingfisher, where they started in 2017 as an IT Manager focusing on Architecture & Integration. Currently, they hold the position of Global Director - IT Strategy and Development at Kingfisher.

Julio C. Valencia Palau attended the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil from 1996 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in System Engineering. Julio C. also has additional certifications, including ITIL Foundations from EXIN, which they obtained in August 2015, and Prince 2 Foundation Examination from APMG-International, which they obtained in June 2015.
