Brian Burford has extensive experience in the gaming industry, currently serving as the General Manager of Candy Crush Soda Saga at King since January 2013. Brian has held various leadership roles, including Vice President and Senior Director focused on in-app purchases and game economy for Candy Crush Saga. Responsibilities include analyzing game performance, collaborating with designers and developers, and applying statistical and machine learning techniques to enhance business outcomes. Prior to joining King, Brian worked as a Genome Bioinformatics Researcher at King's College London and held a Research Fellow position at the Computer Learning Research Centre. Brian completed a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of London in 2008.
