David Cox is an experienced professional in accounting and business consulting, currently serving as the Owner and Sole Proprietor of David L. Cox, CPA since January 2001. In addition to running a full-service CPA practice, David is a Co-Owner of BACO Enterprises, a Barberitos franchise, since February 2018. An educational contributor, David has been an Adjunct Professor at both King College and the University of Virginia College at Wise since 2007 and 2014, respectively, teaching courses in Accounting, Business, and Communication. David’s prior roles include Finance Administrator and Interim County Administrator for Wise County Government from March 2009 to October 2018, CFO at Carroll Technologies Group from 2007 to 2009, and Controller at Joy Mining Machinery from June 1997 to June 2007. David holds an MBA in Business from Virginia Tech and a BS in Accounting from the University of Virginia at Wise.
