Tagleb Mazahreh is an Associate Professor at Jordan University of Science and Technology and has served as Chairman of the Surgical Department at King Abdullah University Hospital since November 2010. With a focus on general, bariatric, and advanced laparoscopic surgery, Tagleb Mazahreh also contributes to the Jordan Medical Council as a member of the scientific committee of the Jordanian Board in general surgery. Academic credentials include a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from Università degli Studi 'Gabriele d'Annunzio'​ di Chieti, F.R.C.S.I from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, a higher specialty in general surgery, and an MBBS from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
