David Gentile is an experienced educator and self-defense instructor. Since November 2018, David has served as a Self-Defense Instructor at Krav Maga Alliance, teaching self-defense techniques. In addition, David has been a Social Studies Teacher at King Abdullah Academy since August 2019, instructing 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Previous teaching roles include Middle School Social Studies Teacher at Center City Public Charter Schools from August 2016 to June 2018, and Middle School ELA Teacher in the same institution from August 2015 to June 2016. David also taught 9th Grade English at Maya Angelou Schools/See Forever Foundation from August 2014 to June 2015, contributing to the disciplinary committee and leading the 9th-grade academy. Earlier experience includes a long-term substitute teaching role at District of Columbia Public Schools from September 2013 to June 2014, covering 8th and 6th grade ELA as well as Read 180.
