Md. Nafis Faisal has worked as a Software Engineer II at Kinetik since April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh from February 2019 to March 2023. During their time at Samsung, Md. Nafis Faisal worked on a project called Samsung Health, where they developed a library for drawing different charts. Before that, they had an internship at Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh from January 2018 to June 2018, where they worked on a Natural Language Processing project focused on classifying user reviews using machine learning.

Md. Nafis Faisal completed their Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Dhaka between the years 2015 and 2018. they have also obtained several additional certifications. In August 2022, they completed the following courses: "Android Development Essential Training: App Architecture with Kotlin", "Android Development: Retrofit with Kotlin", "Concurrent Programming with Android: Threads, Workers, and Kotlin Coroutines", and "Inspirational Leadership Skills: Practical Motivational Leadership" from LinkedIn. Additionally, in January 2022, they obtained a "Problem Solving (Basic) Certificate" from HackerRank.
