Perry Liu has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles. Starting in 2008, Perry worked as an Engineer Intern at Synapse Engineering. Following this, they worked as a Mechanical and Electronic Assistant IV at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. In 2010, Perry held the role of Aerospace Composite Material Specialist at Delsen, now Element. During the same year, they also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Riedon Inc., where they ensured optimal operation of machinery and provided technical support to customers. From 2013 to 2018, Perry served as a Technical Product Manager, Advanced Vehicle Systems at Sumitomo Rubber North America, overseeing the development and expansion of tire-related safety devices. Currently, Perry is employed as a Systems Engineer at Kinemetrics, Inc., where they create and integrates customized systems to meet customers' unique requirements.
Perry Liu, MSE, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Systems Engineering from UCLA, which they obtained between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at UC San Diego from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Perry also obtained a certification in "DSE200x: Python for Data Science" from the University of California San Diego in August 2010.
