Oliver Scott Curry is the Chief Science Officer at kindness.org since May 2019, focusing on the causes and consequences of kindness. Concurrently, Oliver serves as the Research Director and holds various research positions at the University of Oxford, including Research Affiliate and Senior Researcher, where the investigation of human morality is emphasized through interdisciplinary approaches. In addition, Oliver has been a Departmental Lecturer in Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology, involved in teaching and research on social behavior and moral psychology. Prior roles include post-doctoral Researcher at Indiana University, Research Associate at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Lecturer at New York University, with expertise in political theory and cooperative behavior. Oliver earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ethics from the London School of Economics and Political Science between 2000 and 2004.
