Melanie Jerez, LCSW, is an experienced social worker with a diverse background in mental health and community services. Currently serving as a School Social Worker at Orange County Public Schools since October 2019, Melanie also works as a Mental Health Therapist at Kinder Konsulting since August 2017. Prior roles include Bilingual Health Care Integrator at SCO Family of Services and Bilingual Mental Health Counselor at Community Counseling Services, where skills in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans were honed. Melanie's extensive experience also includes working as a Bilingual Family Advocate at Long Island Head Start and providing counseling at Brighter Tomorrows Inc. With an MSW from Adelphi University and a Bachelor of Arts in Secretarial Science from Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, Melanie possesses strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
