Julio Rodriguez Gonzalez is an experienced professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as the Platform Team Sr. Manager - Tissue Manufacturing at Kimberly-Clark since June 2015. In this role, Julio provides leadership to the tissue manufacturing team, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost management. Prior positions at Kimberly-Clark include Platform Team Leader - Converting, Engineering Team Leader, Lead Mechanical Engineer, and Mechanical Engineer, where Julio managed projects and improvements related to manufacturing efficiency and reliability. Julio's academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, where also held a position as a Graduate Research Assistant, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Centroamericana 'José Simeón Cañas'. Notably, Julio received the Best Internship Project award during the Kimberly-Clark Summer Internship Program in 2013 and previously worked as a teaching instructor and intern at Universidad Centroamericana and Holcim, respectively.
