Jairo Trad has a wide range of work experience in both technical and entrepreneurial roles. From 2008 to 2014, they worked as an Assistant Technician at the Faculty of Languages at the University of North Carolina (UNC). In 2010, they became a Hardware Developer at the Digital Communications Laboratory at UNC, where they implemented an embedded system inside an FPGA to process network packets using a classification algorithm. In 2011, they became CEO and Co-Founder of INSUS Ingeniería Sustentable. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Python Developer at neosur, where they developed and maintained a Component Testing suite and developed the environment for the suite. In 2013, they became a Lead Python Developer at Sistemas Lis. In 2014, they worked as a Python Freelance Developer at Toptal and also became CEO and Co-Founder of Kilimo, a SaaS-enabled-Marketplace that leverages AI to help farmers reduce irrigation and allow them to sell Water Offsets to companies pledging to be Water Neutral.

Jairo Trad attended the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba from 2005 to 2012 and obtained an Ingeniero en Computación degree in Informatica.
