Simon Kiener has worked at Kilchenmann AG since 2015. Simon started as an Anlagenbauer from September 2015 to March 2018. Then, they became a Bauleitender Techniker from April 2018 to February 2019. Currently, they are a Software Engineer from February 2019 onwards. Prior to Kilchenmann AG, Simon worked at R. Süßmilch from August 2011 to August 2015 as a Lehre Multimediaelektroniker.

Simon Kiener's education history begins in 2011 when they attended gibb Berufsfachschule Bern and completed their degree as a Multimediaelektroniker EFZ in 2015. In 2017, they pursued further education at TSBE where they obtained a Dipl. Techniker HF Informatik degree from 2017 to 2019. Simon then enrolled at Berner Fachhochschule BFH in 2020, where they started their DAS degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Software Engineering, which they completed in 2023. During this time, they also completed a CAS degree in Software Development from 2020 to 2021. Continuing their education, Simon earned a CAS degree in Java Microservices Development from Berner Fachhochschule BFH in 2023. In 2022, they briefly pursued another CAS degree in Applikationsentwicklung mit JavaScript und HTML5 at the same institution. Additionally, Simon holds a B1 Business Preliminary certification from Cambridge University Press & Assessment English, which they obtained in November 2018.
