Diego Velasquez has worked in the software engineering industry since 2009. In 2009, they worked as a Software Engineer at Avigent SAC, where they developed processes ETL using tools of business Inteligence KETTLE and designed and developed a Pricing Systems. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at Beyond Mobile Software as a Team Leader and Senior Software Engineer, where they managed the development team, trained technical teams, defined architectural designs, and supported and developed mobile applications. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Wally POS as the CTO / Head of Software Development. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Belatrix Software as a Subject Matter Expert and Senior Developer, where they supported UX proposals for mobile applications and lead mobile development teams. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Aeyrium, Inc. as a Lead Mobile Software Architect, where they ported an iOS App to Flutter / Firebase for iOS & Android and supported, educated, and code reviewed other mobile team members' code contributions. Finally, they are currently working at Tonal as a Staff Mobile Engineer since 2021.

Diego Velasquez received their Engineer's Degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega between 2005 and 2009. Diego also has four certifications, including Graph Algorithms from UCSanDiegoX on edX obtained in January 2019, Data Structures Fundamentals from UCSanDiegoX on edX obtained in May 2018, Algorithmic Design and Techniques from UCSanDiegoX on edX obtained in March 2018, and Mobile Application Experiences from MITx on edX obtained in May 2017.
