Jorge Antunes is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in geotechnical and pavement engineering. Currently serving as the Design Operations Director for Kiewit in Western Canada since November 2019, Jorge previously held the position of Vice President, Major Projects at SNC-Lavalin for over a decade, where significant contributions included leading geotechnical and engineering efforts on numerous high-profile projects such as the West Regina Bypass and Evergreen Line Rapid Transit Project. Jorge's career began with Saskatchewan Highways & Transportation, where various roles spanned from Geotechnical and Environmental Engineer to Acting Director of Geotechnical and Surfacing, showcasing a consistent commitment to infrastructure development, project management, and technical innovation in the field. Jorge holds a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
