Jimmy Shimalla, P.E. is a seasoned civil engineering professional with extensive experience in various managerial and engineering roles. Currently serving as the Civil Operations Manager for Kiely Family of Companies since April 2024, Jimmy previously owned Shimalla Engineering LLC from September 2022 to April 2024. A significant portion of Jimmy's career was spent at Kiewit from July 2011 to September 2022, where key positions included Segment Manager for the Connecticut State Pier, General Superintendent for the Verrazzano Bridge, Superintendent for the Bayonne Bridge, and Estimator for Deep Foundations, in addition to serving as a Field Engineer for the Willis Avenue Bridge. Earlier experience includes a role as Surveyor/Drafter at HBK Engineering, LLC from August 2009 to September 2010. Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University.
