Thorsten Emge has had a diverse work experience. Thorsten started their career as Manager Process Engineering at Procter & Gamble in 2001 and worked there until 2007. Thorsten then moved on to Morton Extrusionstechnik GmbH, where they served as Geschäftsführer COO from 2007 to 2015. Since 2015, they have been working at Kiefel GmbH as Head of Central Engineering.

Thorsten Emge holds a Diplom in Chemical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt. Thorsten also pursued a thesis at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark. Additionally, they completed a Chemielaborant program at Du Pont de Nemours Deutschland GmbH from 1986 to 1989.
