Corey Reilly

Chief Building Engineer at Kidder Mathews

Corey Reilly has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Corey started their career as a Head Cashier at Barnes & Noble Inc in 2002, where they oversaw cashwrap functions and mentored booksellers. Corey later became a Department Manager, responsible for cashwrap operations, department merchandising, and training.

In 2005, Corey transitioned to a Head Cashier role at Barnes & Noble Inc Store, where they continued to excel in cashwrap management and achieved high sales in the Membership program. Corey then worked at Cornell & Associates as a Resident Manager, performing minor repairs and coordinating with vendors for major repairs.

From 2006 to 2012, Corey held multiple roles at Barnes & Noble, Inc., including Receiving Manager and Merchandise Manager. In these positions, they managed inventory, oversaw store opening duties, and handled physical plant maintenance.

Starting in 2012, Corey joined Unico Properties LLC as a Building Engineer, where they worked on lighting, plumbing, and HVAC tasks. Corey also performed various troubleshooting and maintenance tasks such as replacing VAV motors and conducting fire pump and generator tests.

Since 2017, Corey has been with CBRE, initially as a Senior Building Engineer and later as an Assistant Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer. In these roles, they have worked on engineering tasks, assisted in LED retrofit projects, and provided support across multiple buildings.

Recently, Corey joined Kidder Mathews as the Chief Building Engineer in December 2021, further expanding their expertise in building engineering and management.

Corey Reilly graduated from Baylor University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Archaeology. Before attending Baylor University, Corey Reilly completed high school at Temple High School from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, Corey Reilly has obtained several certifications including Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers in December 2020, Boiler Fireman, Grade 4 from the City of Seattle in September 2016, Refrigeration Operating Engineer A from the City of Seattle in June 2016, Maintenance Electrician 07 from the State of Washington in February 2016, Washington Class A/B UST Operators training from USTtraining.com in February 2014, and Universal Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification from Ferris State University in June 2013.
