Amy Fishman Kurz serves as the Managing Director of Strategy & Planning at KID Museum, a role assumed in February 2024. Previously, Amy held the position of Director of Strategy & Operations at the College Excellence Program at The Aspen Institute from January 2020 to January 2024, where responsibilities included designing human capital and operational systems while managing a $13 million grant-funded budget with a 99% funding success rate. As Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Martha's Table from March 2015 to January 2020, significant achievements included leading complex real estate transactions and enhancing operational strategies for a staff of over 120. Amy's experience also encompasses board leadership with Young Playwrights' Theater and managing nonprofit initiatives with the Nonprofit Roundtable. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from The George Washington University.
