Peter Downes is an accomplished entrepreneur with significant experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors. As the Founder of Kibo Connect, established in 2008, Peter Downes has focused on providing ISP-related services targeting the SME market, initially reselling xDSL and web and mail services. Additionally, Peter Downes founded 4th Dimension Technology in 2004, which has evolved from a niche IT outsourcing business in the Western Cape to serving hundreds of clients across South Africa with comprehensive IT solutions. Peter Downes also served as Chief Technical Officer for Hymax from 2011 to 2014, where the company capitalized on the opportunities presented by the deregulation of the South African voice market. Peter Downes holds a Diploma in Oceanography from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and attended the University of Cape Town.
