Collison is an award-winning author, writing under the name Jeff Collison and the pen name Lee Thorsen, and previously founded The Best of Aging Magazine, a national award-winning publication catering to the senior demographic. Collison's background includes key leadership roles in software companies serving the publishing sector and early career experience in various circulation management roles. Education includes studies at Muskegon Community College from 1981 to 1983.
