Theocharis Ledakis has a diverse work experience in various roles within the IT industry. Theocharis most recently worked at Ki Insurance as a Platform Engineer, where they were responsible for platform engineering, architecture, deployment, and maintenance of multi-tenant GKE clusters. Theocharis also implemented GitOps practices to support developers in using distributed application and infrastructure github repositories.

Prior to that, Theocharis worked at Worldpay as a Senior Container Platform Engineer and Cloud Engineer. In their role as a Senior Container Platform Engineer, they designed and implemented infrastructure for PCI-DSS microservices in the AWS cloud, using tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, and various AWS services. As a Cloud Engineer, they were part of an agile-scrum team consisting of developers and QA engineers, where they focused on designing and implementing infrastructure for microservices.

Before joining Worldpay, Theocharis worked at Opsview as an Infrastructure Engineer, where they gained experience in managing infrastructure. Theocharis also had an earlier role at Opsview as a Technical Infrastructure Intern, where they gained hands-on experience and knowledge in technical infrastructure.

Theocharis Ledakis began their education in 2011 at the University of Athens, where they studied Mathematics. Theocharis completed their studies there in 2014. In 2014, they then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours degree in Computing at Coventry University, which they completed in 2017. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications, including "Python 3 Scripting for System Administrators" from Linux Academy in June 2018, "OpenStack Essentials" from Linux Academy in May 2018, "AWS Technical Essentials" from Amazon Web Services in February 2018, and "Learning Node.js" from Lynda.com in February 2018. Prior to this, they obtained various certifications related to Python and programming, such as "Python for Everybody Specialization," "Using Databases with Python," "Using Python to Access Web Data," "Programming for Everybody (Python)," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox," all from Coursera.
