Jassen Hansken is an experienced broadcast engineering professional currently serving as the Director and Chief Engineer at KHON-TV since November 2018. Previously, Jassen held the position of Chief Engineer at BiteSize Studio/Nexstar Media Group from January 2015 to November 2018, overseeing a live broadcast quality facility in Hollywood, California. Jassen's career began in technical roles at KOB TV and KSCI TV, with additional experience as the Director of Broadcast Engineering at Integrated Media Technologies. Jassen has also worked with Binary Integration INC and other notable industry companies like Cintel and Encore Hollywood. Jassen holds an Associate of Science degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Napa Valley College.
