Carlos Obejero-Paz has been in the scientific field since 2011, when they began working as a Study Director and Principal Scientist at ChanTest Corporation. Their role involved patch clamp electrophysiology, multi electrode array recordings, and impedance recordings. In 2015, they joined Charles River Laboratories as a Principal Scientist, with similar responsibilities. In 2020, they moved to Khloris Biosciences, where they are currently the Associate Director and Sr. Scientist II.

Carlos Obejero-Paz received their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the School of Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires between 1973 and 1979. Carlos then went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the same school between 1982 and 1986, focusing on Neuroscience.
