Jouni Salo is an experienced executive with a distinguished career in the mining and minerals sector. Salo served as President of Sandvik Mining and Construction in South America from 1998 to 2003, followed by a tenure as President at Metso Minerals from 2003 to 2008. Jouni Salo continued to build on this leadership experience as president of KHD Humboldt International from May 2008 until April 2009, thereafter becoming President & CEO of KHD Humboldt Wedag until June 2015. Currently, Salo is enjoying retirement while also serving as an advisor to the CEO at KHD Humboldt Wedag since January 2019.
