Kristin Groth is an experienced Development Communications Specialist and Communications / Community Giving Director at Goodman Community Center since June 2004. Kristin has a strong background in communications and marketing, overseeing various projects, including writing and designing promotional materials, managing the Eastside News community newspaper, and updating web content. In the realm of development and fundraising, Kristin played a pivotal role in a successful capital campaign and implemented the Benevon Fundraising model. Additional management responsibilities include supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating donor events, and managing gallery exhibits. Prior to Goodman Community Center, Kristin held roles such as Substitute Teacher at Madison Metropolitan School District, Development Specialist at the University of Wisconsin Health Emotions Research Institute, Publications Manager at the Energy Center of Wisconsin, and Art Director at Stephan & Brady. Kristin holds a BA in Elementary Education from Luther College and an Associate's degree in Commercial and Advertising Art from Madison Area Technical College.
