Ahmed Khalifa has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 19 years. Ahmed began their career as a Technical Support Engineer at Khalid Factory, where they provided solutions for computer maintenance, hardware, software, and internet services. Ahmed then moved on to work as a Technical Support Engineer at Nazco Tech, where they installed and configured servers, networks, and software.
After that, Ahmed joined Najeeb A.R.Al Zamil Corp. – NAZCO as a Network Integration Specialist, where they worked on upgrading and renewing the Generation Operations Information System (GOIS) project for the Saudi Electricity Company. Ahmed also served as the OSISoft PI System Infrastructure & Cyber Security Lead, overseeing the design, implementation, integration, and administration of the entire IT infrastructure for the EPRIS project.
Currently, Ahmed works at Khatib & Alami as a Senior Lead Solutions & Products Analyst, where they specialize in AVEVA OSIsoft PI System. Ahmed is responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and administrating the IT infrastructure and assets. Ahmed plays a crucial role in ensuring that the solutions meet customer and industry requirements by implementing the AVEVA OSIsoft PI System to collect and archive real-time process data.
Throughout their career, Ahmed has gained in-depth experience in OSIsoft Data Historian Systems, Control Systems, Process Analysis, and implementing security solutions using Cisco Firewall ASA 5500 Series installation. Their extensive expertise in IT infrastructure and asset management makes him a valuable asset to any organization.
Ahmed Khalifa holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from October 6 University, which they obtained between the years 2001 and 2005. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications, including CISSP, CCNP Security, Security+, Cisco CCNA, and various other certifications related to software and network security, administration, and infrastructure. Ahmed also holds certifications in applications and systems from AVEVA and OSIsoft.
