Sean Murphy has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Sean is currently the Director of Sales & Marketing at KGM Technologies since November 2023. Prior to this, they co-owned SG Concepts, a company that provided unique firearms training to military, government, and civilian shooters. Sean also has a background as a competition shooter and is the owner/admin of PracticalSharpshooter.com. Sean has held various roles at Nightforce Optics, including Training Manager, Marketing Communications Manager, and Marketing Project Manager. Sean has also worked as a freelance contributor for Recoil Magazine. In addition, they have experience as a Sales Manager at Mile High Shooting Accessories and as an Account Manager at Nightforce Optics. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Auditor at the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts.

Sean Murphy attended the University of North Georgia from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Sean also obtained a certification as a USPSA Production Grand Master from the United States Practical Shooting Association in 2014.
