Heiner Otto has worked in various roles at KfW and KfW IPEX-Bank. Heiner started their career as a dualer student at KfW in July 2018 and worked in this position until July 2021. During this time, they gained experience in controlling. In August 2021, Heiner became an Analyst in Controlling at KfW and held this role until June 2023. In July 2023, they joined KfW IPEX-Bank as an Analyst in Portfolio Management & Execution, specifically focusing on Aviation, Mobility & Transport.

Heiner Otto completed their Abitur with a focus on Wirtschaft at Theodor-Litt-Schule Neumünster. Afterward, they attended FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from 2018 to 2021. Heiner then enrolled in FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management's Master of Science program in Finance & Accounting, which they are expected to complete from 2021 to 2024. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the TOEIC-Certification C1 from arenalingua in June 2019, followed by Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP in January 2020. Heiner also completed the course "Data Science und Data Engineering - Grundlagen" at the Hasso Plattner Institute in February 2020.
