Jean Bertos Simo, P.Eng., PhD, MBA, currently serves as Vice President of Operations at KeyZane, Inc., a position held since January 2023. With a robust background in systems engineering and software development, previous roles include Manager of Systems Engineering and Systems Safety at Adacel, and Team Lead for Software, where Jean managed development teams and implemented air traffic management systems. Jean also has experience as a Lecturer in Power Electronics and Industrial Instrumentation at École de Technologie Supérieure, and as a Senior Software Engineer at VIPswitch inc, specializing in protocol analysis. Earlier career positions include Control System Specialist at Bombardier Aerospace and Software Technical Lead at Hydro Québec International, where Jean designed real-time power system solutions. Jean holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Command & Control Systems from Université Laval, an MBA from UQAM, a D.E.A in Electrical Engineering from Centrale Lyon, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique de Yaoundé.
