Mellisa Laud has held a variety of roles in the engineering and operations industries. Mellisa began their career in 1997 at Photronics, where they held the roles of Engineering Manager and Senior Process Engineer. In 2009, they moved to Sabra Dipping Company, LLC as Engineering Manager. In 2010, they were appointed Vice President of Engineering at Standex Engraving, LLC. In 2012, they transitioned to Chapman Associates as Technical Sales Manager. In 2013, they returned to Photronics as Operations Director, and in 2021, they joined Visitech Americas as Operations Manager.

Mellisa Laud has a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston. Mellisa also holds certifications in Leadership Texas from Leadership Women (2017) and Transformational Leadership from Southern Methodist University (2016).
