Lily K. Gupta has over 20 years of experience in the field of process engineering. Lily K. began their career as a Process Associate at VECO Engineering in 1997. Lily K. then worked at SNC-Lavalin as a Process Engineer from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 to 2004, Lily worked at Bantrel as a Process Engineer, where they were involved in various projects such as the Suncor Energy Inc. Sarnia Refinery Genesis Project and the Petro-Canada Montreal Refinery Flare System Audit. Following that, they joined Shell Canada Ltd. as a Process Engineer - Gas Plant Operations Support, providing technical operations support for Shell's Foothills Sour Gas Plants. In 2008, Lily moved to Grantech Engineering International Inc. as a Process Engineer, working on the Murphy Oil Company Ltd. Tupper Gas Plant project. From 2010 to 2012, they worked for Equinox Engineering Ltd. as a Senior Process Engineer, contributing to the Value Creation Inc. 1000 BPSD Pilot Plant and the Petrobakken Energy Ltd. Water Injection Pilot Project. Lily then joined Technip as a Senior Process Engineer in 2013, where they were involved in engineering feasibility studies for Williams Energy Canada Inc. and Devon Energy Corp. Lily K. later worked at Shell as a Senior Process Engineer in 2015 before joining Keyera in 2016 as a Team Lead Senior Process Engineer.
Lily K. Gupta obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with distinction in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary between 1993 and 1997. In 2016, they pursued a PHA/HAZOP Leader Facilitation Certificate at ACM Institute. In 2018, they earned a Certificate as a Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute. In 2020, they started pursuing a Post Graduate Certificate in Energy and Sustainability at the University of Denver, which they completed in 2022. Additionally, in 2021 and 2022, Lily K. Gupta obtained a PGCert in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Denver.
